Ringling College Studio Labs’ Introduction to Sound Design workshop invites you to join award-winning sound designer Nick Palladino and Troy Logan on a four-week deep dive into the basics of sound design. You’ll learn what makes your favorite movies and television series come to life as we work through the basics of editing, foley, and ADR, all the way to a full surround mix. This workshop is open to beginners who are interested in learning sound/audio design.

Ringling College Studio Labs presents the Sound Design Finishing Workshop: an opportunity to take your film to the next level by working in our state-of-the-art Dolby ATMOS® room. Collaborate with award-winning sound designer Nick Palladino and Troy Logan to bring your existing film to life mixed in surround or Dolby ATMOS®. This workshop is great for someone familiar with using Pro Tools and is looking for additional expertise and support to make your film premier-ready.
This workshop requires participants to have their own production ready for testing and finishing.
